First, if it's this hard for you to find him, then he doesn't want to talk to you. Leave him alone, or you may find yourself labeled a stalker and even put into jail. Second, if you can't find it through the means you listed, it's an unlisted number, so even though you have the number, it's not going to tie back to an address, just as if you tried looking by name it wouldn't go back to a number. AOL and other mailservers won't accept email from my website because it does not have Reverse Domain Name Server Lookup set up.

The company says it is *my* responsibility, and I will have to dedicate two IP addresses and build this into my Virtual Private Server, and will have to upgrade to $160 month to handle the "extra load".

I say it is their responsibility to set up reverse DNS look up, given that they provide the DNS servers and the two IP addresses so that the internet community can translate my domain name into an IP address.

If you do a "Who Is?" lookup, it returns two nameservers operated by the ISP, and their dedicated IPs for them. I figure a reverse lookup should lead to their servers also.

A lot of companies will provision lines from larger ISPs, and that is who ultimately owns the IP address. Contact the ISP and get rDNS setup and your e-mail woes will go away. Personally I think you've already blown it, but surely if you were that close you must know one of her relatives or friends that can pass on messages. Otherwise the easiest way is to just ask the local real estate agent to find out a forwarding address.

Can I go to the police and ask them if they can help me find address of a person, i his phone number but cannot locate his number because he is angry at me and he is not picking up my phone. but if i go to the poilce will they consider me as a STALKER??? I am NOT A STALKER, i only want to clarify the doubts in his mind regarding me. Is police the right approach or will they arrest me!!!!

i have tried and paid dollars and dollars finding his address...please help me...he is extremely angry at me and i want to sort out this problem face and to face and he is avoiding me..this is genuine please help me find his address.

Since I got one answer that I may be called as a stalker, then, does any one think that going to police and telling them truthfully will help.

will they believe me if i say that I AM NOT A STALKER...i mean c mon,

i can show my id's to them, i am a student, i can show my passport...seriously, i have nothing to hide and i can tell them the truth, that "hey, we had this argument and now i want to resolve it" thats all, will police file against me something??? please help me with this too..
