Get business name Via IP address?

Hi



I know it is possible to track IP down to company name level, however I am having a hard time doing so. Every time I reverse lookup an IP I either get the company name (great) but 80% of the time I am given the ISP.



For the times I am given an ISP, how do i get around this? If anyone can help me with this I would be most grateful. You can either reply here or hit me up on twitter @techpaste

you can type the ip address into the address bar of your browser and see what website comes up or you can use whois from one of the websites that provide it. Whois should show the company that runs the website, that is the person who has that ip address registered.
