Reverse Phone Number Lookup Question?

So my friend recently started talking to this guy and now when he gave her his digits, we checked it out white pages on the internet. Now when we entered his number in, his name/address came up, etc, HOWEVER so did someone elses. Same exact number, area code and everything. How could this be? The same exact phone number and area code at two different residences. They are both landlines, so it doesn't make any sense. The distance between the two houses is about a mile. Probably came up on an old address or someone else had that phone number first. If he had that number for a while he could have had the number transfered when he moved. but I'm guessing since it came up with a different number they might had the number first.Reverse Phone Number Lookup Question?
I think the phone company screwed up. Apparently this cannot be so, the phone number is correct for one residence and not the other. Maybe the guy moved and took his phone number with him.Reverse Phone Number Lookup Question?
