Reverse IP Lookup?

I was wondering if someone can help me decode IP addresses. For example:

ppp-67-39-185-80.dsl.emhril.ameritech.鈥?br>

From this I gather the person is using dsl service from sbc/ameritech. What does the ppp mean? what does emhril mean? What is a good website to determine where 67.39.185.80 is located? Different websites seem to give different results. There must be at least one good website out there! Thanks.Reverse IP Lookup?
This is a customer on AT%26amp;T DSL. Their IP address is 67.39.185.80. The emhril is the CLLI code for their Elmurst Illinois POP. This means that this person is located somewhere in northern Illinois.

There really is no way to localize it any further since this POP services quite a large area. Depending why you want to locate this individual you could contact the AT%26amp;T security, they won't release any information to you but could follow up on issues you might be having with them.
ppp = peer to peer protocol, the numbers are his ip address the last part is the ISPReverse IP Lookup?
I use browseip.com and I find it pretty accurate.Reverse IP Lookup?
For the IP geolocalization you can use

http://www.maxmind.com/app/locate_ip

The geolocalization is not very accurate.

ppp mean Point-To-Point

ameritech.net is surely the ISP

you can try http://ameritech.net/

For emhril i don't have a clue you can always ask google and try to find what it is :

http://www.google.com/search?q=emhril
I use this and it works fine atleast for most of the IP addresses.

You can use http://www.ipgp.net
